In 2004, 16 specialists from Krystal completed the program “Effective Management of Organizations” In the period of 2002 to 2004, SIBE has trained more than 70 top managers, including 26 specialist from Arcada, in the program “Effective Management of Organizations”. |

2001, SIBE became a partner in the Russian –Swedish
project, “Develop Your Business” a project for top managers of Russia.
September 2001,
the new department of Applied Computer Technology in Economics and Marketing
was begun.
October 2001,
the first group of Smolensk Top Managers, owners and leaders of enterprises
began studying in the program, “Develop Your Business”. November 2001, the SIBE
was accredited by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation as a
Institute of Higher Learning.

September 1999, SIBE received a grant from IRIS for a project for an Organization to Analyze and Strengthen the Infrastructure to support small businesses. |

1, 1988, the faculty of Municipal Education was
established to train municipal employees. September 1,
1998, SIBE the first class began training in State and
Municipal Management and Crisis Prevention Management.
In 1997 and 1998
the SIBE won in the All-Russia Competition of Educational Programs in
Entrepreneurship and Small Business; Investments Projects; Marketing; Financial
Management; Business Planning; Strategic Management; and Management.

September 1996, the Closed Stock Corporation, Morozev Project of Business Consulting was registered. October 1996, the first graduates received their diplomas from SIBE in Management with the qualification of Manager and at the same time they received a diploma from the Moscow Institute of Economics and Statistics.

July 4, 1995, SIBE was licensed by the Committee Higher Education of the Russian Federation to educate students in Management, Finance, and Credit. |

1994 Smolensk School of Management was founded for continuing education of managers. Also in 1994 became a member of the Morozev Project, a program for preparing and supporting entrepreneurs in the Russian market economy. December 30, 1994 the SIBE was officially established.

April 4, 1990, in the Smolesnk Branch of the Moscow Power and Engineering Institute (MPEI) a new department of Economics and Production Management was founded by V. E. Groushenko, a Candidate of Technical Science, docent. |
